Tales From Beyond

Out-of-Town Errands
You love your buds abroad. They’re great. And you’d love to run errands for them. But hey, sometimes you just don’t have the means to travel.

“So, I was supposed to give Olivia her Mario Bros. game that Kiki borrowed,” says an uber-relaxed Bob. “But Olivia lived in SneeksVille and I lived in BoomTown and I couldn’t get to Kiki’s hood.”

Since the memory card to Kiki’s Animal Crossing town wasn’t available, Bob headed to familiar territory.

“The wishing well. Pthhpth. It’s a life saver,” says Bob. “I said I was sorry but I couldn’t run that errand for Olivia.”

Forgiven from the errand, Bob was able to go back to his window and loll in the sun.

Island Talk

Cuckoo for Coconuts
Splendiferous coconut trees are only found in the warm tropics of Animal Crossing. But not if determined gardeners have anything to do with it.

“I knocked into a couple of the fruity palm trees and nabbed as many coconuts as I could,” says Greenie of Earth Village. After each rain I planted a few coconut trees on the beach at home for that down-home Animal Island feel.”

Once Greenie had a few mature palm trees, she was able to seed more trees with the coconuts from her transplants.

“I don’t mean to brag, but I’d say my village has become its own tropical paradise,” boasts Greenie, who plans to open a coconut cafe soon.
